Omoyeni parts ways with Ekiti FA

  Olawale Omoyeni Resigns as Ekiti FA Media Officer Olawale Omoyeni has officially stepped down from his position as the Media Officer of the Ekiti State Football Association, as contained in a resignation letter dated January 19, 2026. In the letter addressed to the Association and the general public, Omoyeni stated that his decision was taken to enable him pursue other life opportunities and further his professional career. He expressed sincere appreciation to the Ekiti State Football Association for the privilege to serve and for the opportunity to contribute to the development of football in the state. Omoyeni also wished the football family in Ekiti State sustained success under the leadership of Aare Oluwole Oloworemo and thanked all stakeholders for their support during his tenure.

ESFL 2025: Feeders to the quarter finals

  EKITI UNITED FEEDERS ADVANCE TO ESFL 2025 QUARTERFINALS AFTER PENALTY SHOOTOUT VICTORY Ekiti United Feeders have secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the ongoing Ekiti State Football League (ESFL) 2025 , following a dramatic win over Adeyeye FC of Ado Ekiti . According to the team’s Media Officer, TOSIN POPOOLA , the thrilling encounter ended 2-2 in regular time, with AJIBADE Victor and ADEWUSI Taiwo netting the goals for Ekiti United Feeders.  Despite a strong contest from Adeyeye FC, both teams could not be separated after full time. The match was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout, where the Feeders team emerged victorious to claim their place in the next round of the tournament. Speaking after the match, Coach FEMI KUMUYI of Ekiti United Feeders expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance.  He praised the players for their composure and determination, reaffirming the team’s commitment to ending the competition on a high note.

Ekiti FA Boss Oloworemo Joins NFF Bigwigs in Kigali to Cheer on Super Eagles

Ekiti State Football Association Chairman, Aare Oluwole Oloworemo, has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, to support the Super Eagles in their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier match against Rwanda. Oloworemo joined NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, and other board members at the Amahoro National Stadium, where the match is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 5 PM. The Ekiti FA boss urged the Super Eagles to build on their impressive 3-0 win over the Republic of Benin last Saturday, which saw goals from Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen. With Oloworemo's presence, the Super Eagles are poised to receive strong support from Nigerian football stakeholders as they take on Rwanda in a crucial qualifier match.
