Ekiti Para Athletes Set Records, Return from 2026 National Games The Ekiti State para-athletes contingent has returned home after an impressive outing at the 2026 National Para Games held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, where they recorded historic achievements. The games, which ran from March 26 to April 3, 2026, saw Ekiti athletes compete in six sporting events, securing medals across multiple categories and setting new milestones for the state. Notably, the contingent made history in wheelchair basketball, para soccer, and para swimming—events in which Ekiti participated for the first time and still emerged with medals.
