Emure Youths Raise Alarm Over Alleged Plot to Impose Representative, Demand Urgent Intervention Emure youths have issued a strong call to their traditional ruler, Kabiyesi Oba James Ajiboye Otutubiosun I, alongside key stakeholders, to urgently intervene in what they describe as a looming crisis over the selection of their next representative in the Ekiti State Youth Parliament. Emure Youths Clean Major Streets in Historic Sanitation Exercise The , led by its executive members under the leadership of Moyinoluwa Charles, on Saturday, January 31, 2026 , carried out a street cleaning and environmental sanitation exercise across major parts of . The exercise began at the Old Secretariat Junction, where participating youths converged early in the day to commence the clean-up. Working in turns, they swept and cleared refuse along key roads in a coordinated effort aimed at improving the cleanliness and outlook of the town. From the Old Secretariat Junction, the sanitation team moved along the main road leading to the front of the Elemure Palace. The exercise continued through Four Junction and extended to Ogbontioro Market, covering some of the busiest and most strategic areas of the community. Emure Youths Forum Records Successful Week of Engagement, January 19–25 The Emure Youths Forum recorded an active and engaging week of programmes between January 19 and January 25 , as youths across the community participated in a series of activities designed to promote unity, empowerment, and community development. The week-long engagement was coordinated by Omoba Yemi Ajiboye , who served as the Youth Coordinator for the period and expressed appreciation to the organisers of the forum for sustaining what he described as a unique and impactful youth-driven initiative.   Emure Youths Launch Operation Keep Emure Clean Initiative The Emure Youth Forum, in collaboration with the Community of Emure, has announced the commencement of an Environmental Sanitation Exercise tagged Operation Keep Emure Clean aimed at promoting a cleaner and healthier Community. The Initiative under the leadership of Motion Moscow and the executives is designed to mobilize Youths and Residents toward collective responsibility, environmental awareness, and active participation in Community Development efforts across Emure.
