Youth Commissioner Adedayo Backs TGED, Ado, Ikere LFC's “Football for a Plastic-Free Ekiti” Campaign

The Commissioner declared his support during a courtesy visit by the campaign’s delegation to his office at the State Secretariat Complex in Ado-Ekiti. The foundation, also known as TGED, is focusing its campaign on young people, aiming to educate them on the proper use and disposal of plastics. Leading the initiative is Ms. Oluwaseyi Ebenezer, alongside Programme Officer Adeyanju Olamilekan, with support from the Ado and Ikere Local Football Councils. The team paid a series of courtesy visits to key stakeholders, including Dr. Olusola Osetoba, Technical Adviser on Sports Development to Governor Biodun Oyebanji. Discussions centered on using sports—especially football—as a tool to drive home the message of environmental responsibility.
