EKITI STATE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL APPROVES OVER 700 MILLION NAIRA FOR STATE ASSEMBLY COMPLEX RENOVATION

 


The Ekiti State Executive Council has approved several projects totaling billions of naira to enhance infrastructure development, agriculture, and education in the state.

The council approved:

- N700,973,716.86 to renovate the House of Assembly Complex and Service Commission building

- N2,715,063,998.19 for the rehabilitation of De-Head to Faglo, Basiri Junction Road, Ado Ekiti

- N177,937,500.00 for land clearing under the Youth in Agriculture Initiative

- N229,000,000.00 to procure tractors and farm machinery

- N329,474,681.08 for the construction of a 100-bed space capacity hostel at Command Secondary School, Isan Ekiti

These projects aim to improve the state's infrastructure, boost agricultural production, and enhance educational facilities. 

The contracts were awarded to various companies, with completion timelines ranging from four weeks to 12 months.
