Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has taken decisive action by suspending four key government officials with immediate effect. The affected officials include:
- Chrysanthus Dawam, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning
- Jamila Tukur, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture and Hospitality
- Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development
- Moses Sule, Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency
The governor's decision was announced by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, but no reasons were given for the suspensions.

In a related development, Governor Mutfwang has also made changes to his cabinet, swapping the portfolios of two commissioners to enhance service delivery.
Noel Nkup will now oversee Youth and Sports Development, while Bashir Lawandi Datti takes charge of Water Resources and Energy.
The suspensions and reshuffle come on the heels of the recent PDP primaries for local government elections, which were marred by violence and allegations of interference in some areas.
