UNITED APOSTOLIC CHURCH OF CHRIST PLEDGES TO SUPPORT BIBLE SOCIETY OF NIGERIA

(L-R) UACC PRESIDENT, WIFE &  PST SANUSI

The United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC) has pledged to partner with and support the Bible Society of Nigeria in propagating the word and work of God in the country.

Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi, President of UACC, made this pledge during a visit to the Bible Society's headquarters in Lagos, where he led a delegation of UACC members.

Rev. Owoyemi expressed his joy at witnessing the activities of the Bible Society and called on other Christian denominations to follow suit, ensuring the propagation of God's word reaches new heights in Nigeria.

He commended the Bible Society's efforts, saying, "We have regard for the Bible and are part of the Bible Society at the local level. What we saw today has opened our eyes to many things we didn't know. We commend them."

Rev. Owoyemi emphasized the importance of supporting the Bible Society, stating, "This year marks the 58th anniversary of the Bible Society in Nigeria. It's surprising that only one denomination has visited this place, and UACC is the second. We need to look into that."

Meanwhile, Pastor Samuel Sanusi, General Secretary/CEO of the Bible Society of Nigeria, described the UACC team's visit as commendable and motivational. He noted that apart from one other denomination, UACC was the second to make such a visit, demonstrating their respect for the Bible Society.

Sanusi expressed his gratitude, saying, "We feel elated having UACC as our guest. It shows that our labor is not in vain, and people acknowledge what we do and are willing to partner with us."
