Galatasaray Set to Sign Victor Osimhen on Loan from Napoli



In a latest development, Turkish side Galatasaray is poised to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen on a loan deal from Napoli. 

According to renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, representatives from Galatasaray will arrive in Italy in the coming hours to finalize the agreement.


Romano revealed on his official social media handle that Galatasaray is willing to cover Osimhen's annual salary in full, a significant gesture to secure the services of the talented striker.

This move comes after Osimhen's relationship with Napoli deteriorated following controversies surrounding his transfer. 

Newly appointed Napoli coach Antonio Conte has also publicly stated that Osimhen is not part of his plans, preferring instead to work with Romelu Lukaku, a player he previously coached at Inter Milan.

The loan deal will provide Osimhen with a fresh start, and Galatasaray will be hoping to tap into his exceptional skills, which earned him the African Footballer of the Year award.
