Jaydyn FC Claims Ekiti State Football League Title



In an electrifying match, Jaydyn FC emerged victorious, defeating Fuoye Dazzlers 4-3 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw at full time. 

The Super 8 final, held at the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Sports Complex on Sunday, showcased exceptional football skills.

Jaydyn FC dominated early, with Rahimi Jamiu scoring in the 16th minute. 

However, Fuoye Dazzlers made a strong comeback in the second half, with Adebayo Toheeb equalizing in the 62nd minute.

The Champions claimed the coveted trophy by converting 4 of their penalties while Dazzlers could only score 3.

The event, organized by the Ekiti FA under Aare Oluwole Oloworemo's leadership, drew notable dignitaries, including NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau's representative, Otunba Dele Ajayi, and Ekiti FA Board Members.

The Ekiti State Football League Committee Chairman, Mr. Soji Farotimi, expressed gratitude to Aare Oluwole Oloworemo, dignitaries, Owu Sportswear, and spectators for their support, making the event a resounding success.
