Ekiti State Polytechnic, Iṣan Ekiti Announces New Registrar


The Governing Council of Ekiti State Polytechnic, Iṣan Ekiti, has named Mrs. Adewumi Abimbola Yetunde as the institution's new Registrar. 

The announcement marks a new chapter for the polytechnic as it continues its commitment to academic excellence and efficient administration.

Mrs. Adewumi brings a wealth of experience and academic qualifications to her new role. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education (BA.Ed) in English from Lagos State University (LASU) and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti. 

Her membership in various professional organizations, including the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), the Institute of Corporate Administration (ICAD), and the Association of University Administrators, underscores her dedication to professional development.

Before this appointment, Mrs. Adewumi served as Deputy Registrar in the School of Business Studies at the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti. Her extensive career at the institution also includes roles such as Deputy Registrar for the Continuing Education Centre and the School of Science and Computer Studies. Additionally, she was the Head of the Human Resources Division from 2015 to 2019. 

With 27 years of experience in the polytechnic system, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and administrative skills in various capacities.

Mrs. Adewumi's appointment as Registrar is set to take effect on March 3, 2025. 

Her vast experience and dedication to academic administration are expected to play a vital role in further advancing the vision and mission of Ekiti State Polytechnic.

Omoyeni parts ways with Ekiti FA

  Olawale Omoyeni Resigns as Ekiti FA Media Officer Olawale Omoyeni has officially stepped down from his position as the Media Officer of the Ekiti State Football Association, as contained in a resignation letter dated January 19, 2026. In the letter addressed to the Association and the general public, Omoyeni stated that his decision was taken to enable him pursue other life opportunities and further his professional career.
