TA SPORTS OSETOBA, CONGRATULATES NEW ELEMURE, OBA AJIBOYE

The Technical Advisor on Sports Development to Ekiti State Governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Olusola Osetoba, has congratulated the newly installed Elemure of Emure Kingdom, Oba Babatunde Ajiboye, describing his ascension as a blessing to the ancient town and a turning point in its quest for peace and development.

Dr. Osetoba, a proud indigene of Emure Ekiti, in a goodwill message on Thursday, commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for ensuring a smooth, transparent and rancour-free process that culminated in the enthronement of the new royal father.

She noted that the selection of Oba Ajiboye, a retired Customs Officer from the Abenimota Royal Dynasty, aligns with the collective aspirations of the people of Emure Kingdom for a purposeful and visionary leadership on the throne.

Her remarks came shortly after Governor Oyebanji, through his Deputy, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye, presented the Instrument of Appointment and Staff of Office to the new monarch at a colourful ceremony attended by dignitaries, community leaders, and government officials.

While echoing the governor’s appeal against frivolous litigations, Dr. Osetoba urged all sons and daughters of Emure, regardless of royal affiliations, to support Oba Ajiboye's reign and work collectively towards advancing the town’s socio-economic growth and cultural heritage.

She pledged her personal support and collaboration with the new monarch, particularly in youth and sports development initiatives, expressing optimism that the Elemure’s reign would usher in a new era of unity, security, and prosperity for Emure and its people.
