Head of Marketing and Communications at Agbeyewa Farms, Mr. Rotimi Wusu, said the company is building a legacy through the Agbeyewa Cup, describing the final as a carnival-like celebration of youth, sportsmanship, and community pride.

He stated that the initiative aims to rekindle the values once associated with the Principal’s Cup by promoting teamwork, discipline, and academic excellence through football.

Lawal further hinted that the company plans to establish an Agbeyewa Sports Academy to groom promising athletes discovered through the competition for both local and international exposure.

He emphasized that Agbeyewa’s long-term goal is to expand into multiple sporting disciplines and produce world-class athletes capable of representing Nigeria globally.

Now in its third year, the Agbeyewa Cup has grown into a movement that blends sports, education, and corporate social responsibility, reinforcing Agbeyewa Farms’ reputation as a major force in youth empowerment and community development.
