EKITI QUEENS GET TECHNICAL ADVISOR’S BOOST AHEAD OF NWFL SEASON OPENER

Ekiti Queens FC have received a strong vote of confidence from the Technical Advisor on Sport Development in Ekiti State, Dr. Olusola Osetoba, as the team prepares to face Heartland Queens FC in their 2025/2026 Nigeria Women Football League opener scheduled for today at 4PM.

Dr. Osetoba noted that the squad has shown clear progress in recent months, adding that their discipline and steady improvement reflect the growing structure within the club. She stressed that Ekiti Queens’ rising competitiveness is tied to the continued support provided by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

The remarks were contained in a statement issued by her Media Aide, Akintomiwa Bolarinwa, who explained that the Advisor believes the team is now better prepared for sustained high-level performance.

She urged the players to begin the season with purpose, reminding them that each fixture presents a fresh chance to justify the administration’s investment and to reward the loyalty of supporters across Ekiti State, even as the opening match holds away from home.

‎Dr. Olusola Osetoba, the Technical Advisor on Sport Development in Ekiti State, has expressed strong confidence in Ekiti Queens FC as the team prepares for its 2025/2026 NWFL opening fixture against Heartland Queens FC today, 26th November 2025, at 4PM.

‎Dr. Osetoba praised the team’s steady progress in recent months, noting that their discipline, work ethic, and competitive drive reflect the renewed structure within the club. She added that Ekiti Queens’ consistent performance is a direct outcome of the strategic support provided by Governor Biodun Oyebanji, whose commitment continues to strengthen women’s football in the state.

‎She encouraged the players to begin the season with a strong showing, reminding them that every match is an opportunity to uphold the trust placed in them and to justify the administration’s continued investment in their development.

‎Dr. Osetoba further urged the team to deliver a performance that will make their teeming supporters across Ekiti State proud, even as the fixture holds away from home.
