See The Details Of What Coach Vandi Does To Ekiti Queens During Training In Abeokuta

Vandi Charges Ekiti Queens to Stay Focused Ahead of Crucial NWFL Clash with Heartland

Head coach of Ekiti Queens FC, Jacob Vandi, has urged his players to remain focused and fully prepared ahead of their Match Day 10 encounter in the Nigeria Women Football League against Heartland Queens FC.

According to the team’s media officer, Tosin Popoola, the charge was delivered during the team’s final training session at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State, ahead of the 4pm fixture scheduled for Wednesday, March 11.

The Adamawa-born tactician, speaking with visible enthusiasm, was observed issuing tactical instructions as the players listened attentively during the session.

Vandi also challenged the team to repay the unwavering support of their fans and the Ekiti State Government under Governor Biodun Oyebanji, through the Technical Advisor on Sports Development, Dr Mrs Olusola Osetoba, who has continued to provide backing and necessary provisions for the squad.

The game will be Ekiti Queens’ final home fixture in Abeokuta following their temporary banishment by the league body, a situation team manager Felicia Okunola has described as both draining and taxing.

While Heartland Queens, coached by Obi Ogbala, arrive desperate for points after a difficult first round, the Baoress Babes led by captain Seun Fakunle will be determined to climb the standings as supporters in Ekiti eagerly await their eventual return to the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium.
