OYEBANJI’S INFRASTRUCTURE SURGE WINS HEARTS AS EKITI COMMUNITIES RALLY FOR SECOND TERM


Residents across communities in have once again applauded the sweeping infrastructural strides of Governor , describing his administration as impactful and people-centered.

Individuals and groups who spoke during the Ekiti Project Tour expressed deep satisfaction over the visible transformation recorded across towns and rural settlements, noting that development has reached the grassroots.


In Igbemo, farmers and business owners commended the construction of critical road networks linking Ikole-Isaba-Ikoyi-Igbemo and Ikole-Ara-Isinbode, stressing that the projects have boosted economic activities and eased movement.

The Onisin of Isinbode, Oba Barrister Adesoji Akinyemi Ona Oro III, while acknowledging the government’s efforts, appealed for the immediate deployment of a medical doctor to the Primary Health Centre in Isinbode Ekiti.

At the General Hospital in Ilupeju Ekiti, members of the tour team were exposed to modern medical facilities and upgraded infrastructure aimed at enhancing service delivery.





Health officials showcased newly installed sophisticated equipment, including electric vital monitoring devices used for checking blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and pulse rates.

A youth corps doctor, Daniel Aniekan, alongside Nurse Ruth Enekhai at Ayede General Hospital, guided the team through the facilities, highlighting improvements that have significantly enhanced healthcare services.

A patient’s mother, Atinuke Olaoba, praised the quality of care at the Ilupeju facility, attributing the improved service delivery to deliberate investments by the Oyebanji administration.









At Ifaki General Hospital, the narrative remained consistent as residents and health workers pointed to notable upgrades that now enable the facility to meet modern healthcare standards.

Overall, the Ekiti Project Tour provided firsthand verification of widespread infrastructural development, with many host communities openly declaring support for Governor Oyebanji’s second-term bid.

  Olawale Omoyeni Resigns as Ekiti FA Media Officer Olawale Omoyeni has officially stepped down from his position as the Media Officer of the Ekiti State Football Association, as contained in a resignation letter dated January 19, 2026. In the letter addressed to the Association and the general public, Omoyeni stated that his decision was taken to enable him pursue other life opportunities and further his professional career.
